Q20 Events is a family business created and led by John and Jacqueline Lambert, an international performance agency founded in 1970. We love creating and delivering inspirational events with a theatrical flair.

Beginning life as Q20 Theatre, our networks and friendships were born in the theatre and span over 40 years, developing into a network of high quality performers nationally, as well as over 100 acts designed and created in-house. As Q20 Theatre, we continue to design and create our fabulous costumes and characters; as Q20 Events we've developed into an events agency whose work can be seen in high streets and shopping centres all across the UK.

Q20 recently celebrated its 40th anniversary and the "four decades of creating inspiring and original events, working to a range of budgets, but always executed with style and high production values".

Q20 Events is based at Dockfield Road Creative Arts Hub, Dockfield Road,  Shipley, West Yorkshire, BD17 7AD - the registered office of Q20 Theatre Ltd. Q20 Events is registered as Q20 Theatre Ltd with Companies House as a private company limited by guarantee, reg. no. 05082406

John Lambert

Founder of Q20 Theatre and Q20 Events, John is an actor, performer and creative director for the company. He maintains a hands on approach to the running of Q20, and also its home, Dockfield Road Creative Arts Hub. The building was launched to provide a HQ for local artists and craftworkers, and now runs as a successful community of creativity. In 2014, John was responsible for the creation of the annual Arts Council England- and Bradford Council-funded Shipley Street Arts Festival.

John has been inspirational in bringing the street theatre concept to events within the retail sector, enabling shopping centres to use arts performance as a highly successful marketing tool.

He continues to regularly appear as a Dumbledore lookalike, the Mad Hatter and his internationally-acclaimed Manjy the Clown.

Jacqueline Lambert

As joint-founder of Q20 Theatre and Q20 Events, Jacqueline has been responsible for much of its distinctive creativity: designing and creating spectacular costumes and leading many of our signature art and craft workshops. Jacquie has a high level of skill in many craft disciplines, including patchwork, jewellery-making, willow work and creating stained glass.

Her appearances as Dotty (of Q20's Christmas-themed Victorian carol-singing duo "Dizzy and Dotty") continue to captivate audiences with her wit and humour.
